Also, Jamiroquai's website is referred to as "Jay Kay's Official Web Site", so He is Jamiroquai and no one else at this point, it seems.

trudat. but that was not a very typical jamiroquai track. just about the rest were lame funk jams.
also:virtual insanity: good melody, shame about the lyrics.one or two songs on the debut had a swampy funk basement quality to them, but apart from that: SHITE!
and:"I love with a little l" - subtle or moronic?

wonder how the jamiroquais will fare in the 90s revival
badly, i hope
― English: The Money Woman (history mayne), Thursday, 27 May 2010 14:34 (sixteen years ago)
They won't really feature would be my guess - they mostly lost their 90s vibe when they dropped the digeridoos and the eco stuff. Their subsequent stuff is timeless.
― Ismael Klata, Thursday, 27 May 2010 16:02 (sixteen years ago)
haha
can't believe how 70s-retro their first records were though
just shameless, bringing nothing new at all

Gene! Everett True went head-over-heels for Gene when he was playing the contrarian after Suede came out. His endless gushing reviews about how Gene touch his soul are still possibly the most embarrassing things I've ever read.
On-form Jamiroquai were ace, though

"Cosmic Girl" - "Alright" - "High Times" - "Deeper Underground" - "Canned Heat" - "Supersonic" - "King for a Day" - "Little L" - "You Give Me Something" - "Love Foolosophy" - "Feels Just Like It Should"

Can't lie, was a BIG fan for the first two albums, and liked about 1/2 of the 3rd album. Then just suddenly lost interest,
...and am a little curious about how I will feel in another 5 years.
