Songs with bah bah bahs in them never fail to dissapoint me. Even some bap bap baps will help make a lousy song sound that much better. But la la las?

Forget about it.

Depends if there's a sha in there or not.

I love ba bas and la las and na nas.

Just today I was listening to the new Shins album, and one of the songs has la la las in it (I think they are las). I was very happy.

Fence-sitter.

sidenote: even bub-a-dubs are better than la la las.

Fence-sitter

Well yes, I am that.

I guess if I had to choice, it would be the good old 'la'.

that should be:

"If I had to make a choice"

Bah Bah Bah brings to mind the Pepsi theme. That's close to indefensible right there.

I don't know which theme you're talking about but I'm already sold.

i like the 'n-dat 'n-dat n-da-da-da type thing that, say, van morrison does.

'n-dat 'n-dat n-da-da-da

Wasn't there a Bell Biv Devoe song that made great use of that sequence? 'That Girl is Poison' or something.

What's the sound that proceeds '...feelin' groovy'? Is it na-na-na-na?

Debito (Debito), Thursday, 11 December 2003 03:57 (twenty-two years ago)

that should be 'preceeds'

what the hell is wrong with me today?

Debito (Debito), Thursday, 11 December 2003 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

pfft. That's mere scat. Let's stick to the basics, shall we?
