What are your opinions on Maslak? What's the story again (I guess I could just go to allmusic): he gave up free jazz as being too alienating to most listeners, but then came back to it in some form? Or he just gave it up? What is the "Kenny Dollars" concept?
His name is superb, and I would like to be able to like someone named Keshavan Maslak, but I'm afraid I will have to like the music as well.

He was Kenny Millions, not Kenny Dollars. He had a band called "Loved by Millions" -- also funny (more "pop" than his Keshavan Maslak stuff).
If you're interesed, you should pick something up; I doubt you'll be disappointed.

maybe i should play it.
it sez on the back: "all music composed and performed on an apple macintosh plus computer with mark of the unicorn performer software"
so, i'm guessing it isn't free-jazz.
