Dunno if we're talking about the same commercial ('cause you know how many girl-in-hotdog-suit-meets-guy-in-Pepsi-can-suit commercials are floating around these days), but the one I saw had Blind Melon's "No Rain" playing. Though I like the song, I thought that using it was cheap and lazy, since it basically played off the video except the suit is different. It's like Bee Girl nine years later.

Dammit, I need to read more carefully. Evidently, we're not talking about the same commercial since there was no talking involved in the one I saw. Just the girl handing out flyers and being miserable, then spotting Pepsi dude and waving at him.

Alex -- it's the same commercial. There is indeed no dialogue and it uses that wretched Blind Melon song, which, as you point out, involves the same concept as the original video except with different suits.

Sonny A. -- while Dale it'sn't exactly popular as a female name, it's certainly not unprecedented; see Dale Evans (Mrs. Roy Rogers), Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons, and artist Dale Spender),

I wouldn't say it's the identical concept as the infamous Bee Girl video, but it's damn close. Weird to think that song is over a decade old now, isn't it?

uh, it's the Bee girl all grown up. look closely.

Heather Loach? I don't think that's accurate.
