The willie nelson x-mas album is my all-time favorite -- booker t and willie getting stoned as fuck doing christmas songs, how brilliant.

The Beatles' x-mas fan club singles were... interesting. Not quite as good as the Goons, but def. wacky. You can download MP3s here: http://www.scifihifi.com/beatles/

El Vez's Christmas album is fucking good.

And there was some decent stuff on that Jeepster "Cool Cool X-Mas" comp. of a few years' back:
"Thank You Dreaded Black Ice, Thank You" Giant Sand
"White Christmas" The Flaming Lips (Demo for Tom Waits)
"When I Get Home For Christmas" Snow Patrol
"Gift X-Change" Calexico

yetimike (McGonigal), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Apart from being a Christmas #1, what does "Always On My Mind" have to do with Christmas?
