I'm just curious. I'd like to hear the electro cover version ala my favorite album of the week: "Powerslaves: An Electro Tribute To Iron Maiden".

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:48 (twenty-two years ago)

hows it compare to anton maiden?

cinniblount (James Blount), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:49 (twenty-two years ago)

well, nothing compares to anton maiden (his version of "The Trooper" changed my life...twice) but I must say that "Die With Your Boots On" makes one hell of an electro song.

ben welsh (benwelsh), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:50 (twenty-two years ago)

P.S. I'd murder for an raunchy over the top electro version of Gang of Four's "I Love A Man In Uniform"

ben welsh (benwelsh), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Whoa, whoa! ...Anton Maiden?? What is that?

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, there was this "slow" kid from Scandenavian who recorded himself singing over midi files of Iron Maiden songs. Search the boobird and see what flies.

He recently killed himself.

ben welsh (benwelsh), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:55 (twenty-two years ago)

You're shitting me.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Nope, happened a month or two ago I'm afraid.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 15 December 2003 04:57 (twenty-two years ago)

It's really quite remarkable stuff. His passion is unquestionable. Be sure to check how he nails the opening voiceover on "Number of the Beast" and even rips through the entirity of "Rime of the Ancient Mariner".

But really, the midi track to "The Trooper" is just unbelievable. I cannot overstate that.

ben welsh (benwelsh), Monday, 15 December 2003 05:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Ironic retard MIDI is so 1998.

may pang (maypang), Monday, 15 December 2003 05:07 (twenty-two years ago)

ben welsh (benwelsh), Monday, 15 December 2003 05:08 (twenty-two years ago)

You should record something too then.
