my vote goes to the bootleg CD's too. though that recent 4 CD set has an absolutely unforgivable tracking error making "For Brass" unlistenable from 7 minutes onward. have been meaning to import the track and edit those things out myself.

young's "volga delta" for two gongs is nice but rhys chatham's later, essentially identical "two gongs" is a better recording.
