of course i'm trying not to care but it just occurred to me that this may finally be Radiohead's year having lost out to The Verve and COldplay before - Travis seem 'over' but don't suppose they could be ruled out.

nominations likely to be Radiohead, Travis, Super Furry Animals, Girls Aloud, Stereophonics (spot the odd one out indeed)

Dido for best fem, they will probably find a way to give Robbie the best male award again, The Darkness sure to get Best Breakthrough and i'd guess at Sugababes for best dance act again, hmmm

Haven't they ruled out Robbie for any awards except possibly best single (and let's face it, if he wins that there's no justice) because live albums don't count or something? Best male will probably go to Daniel Bedingfield or Will Young.

it's only when the Brits roll around that i realise what a sorry state things are in - Bedingfield or Young? gawd...i'd give it to Dizzee of course but can't see that happening
