First Braveheart LP is out and it's wicked. Firstly, I know everyone thinks Jungle and Wiz are poor mcs, and that they're just Nas's bodyguards or summat, but they're not! Jungle has some really nice verses on this record. nah who am i kidding...Nas is in pure Tony Montana mode, accelerated gangsta spitting on 'Bravehearted' cos he's jewish like sammy davis jr holding a louie suitcase colin powel chopped up in pieces. Every beat sounds like the snooker hall fight in mean streets, all subway rumbles and smashed crack viles under foot and shit. some songs sound modern like the one by little jon. and a few jazze pha/kanye west thug-passion songs. but 'b-train' is pure menace and decay. be passionate about this cd!!! Didn't seem like many people were feeling g-unit but this is so much better!

Yeah whats the deal with the bravehearts? what happened to horse? nas doesn't consider himself a true braveheart just two guess appearances? weren't there a few other lacheys??

The fact it finally came out marks the end of an era. I used to love opening up nas albums and seeing the "BRAVEHEARTS - COMING SOON" promo mention and snickering "yeah right.. on a cold day in hell thats coming out"

But seriously "Quick to Back Down" is amazing, best lil jon production of the year. trumping even Damn! for most gangsta. The verses are nice too, I'LL PUT A SLUG BETWEEN YOUR EYES STAND THERE WATCH YA PUNK ASS DIE

How many tracks are on it? i see it on soulseek with 11 but that doesn't seem right.

it's all pretty hot, 'b train,' the 'damn!' remix, 'twilight,' 'bravehearted.' more drama than the president with north korea / getting crunk with lil jon, he the livest in the south / fuck around and you get wires in your mouth. yes, that sounds like nas.

stomach stretched from the grub.

keep a burner in the trunk, ar-15.

i think it's cool that he keeps putting jully black on. how did they meet? (IF YOU ARE NOT FROM CANADA YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW HER AND YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE HEARD: BABY BLUE SOUNDCREW FT. SEAN PAUL, KARDI, JULLY BLACK - 'MONEY JANE,' JULLY BLACK - 'RALLY N,' CHOCLAIR FT. JULLY BLACK - 'LIGHT IT UP,' JULLY BLACK FT. NAS - 'MATERIAL THINGS,' JULLY BLACK - 'YOU CHANGED.')

Nas:

My name is beloved I come from the past
With insects crawling on me like I'm dead, I don't eat I just fast
I don't beef I just blast, Gods son, blood on my palm
I left the cross horny white nun's suckin me off
And black dike ones, dressed up like bush identical mask
I fuck em hard with a sinister laugh
And puff on cigar like Tony Montana
Me and Sony got problems
If I die they say I'm only a martyr
Step to me I'm braver, do me a favor
Put two in my waves, you can be paid
The label puts you in my place
I'm Jewish like Sammie Davis Junior
Holding a Louis suitcase with Colin Powell chopped in pieces
Now I'm locked up with psycho's who eat they feces
Colder hearts break me out and I reveal deep secrets
About this street shit that y'all so obsessed by
I rep my niggas to the death while the rest lie, the rest die, I'm brave.

This isn't bad in my opinion also. I like to compare them to Memphis Bleek, who have also released an album recently and have a very similar sound. It is making me wonder which of these two I like more. Which of course adds another dimension to the Jay-Z vs Nas, etc.
