...and if any of it sounds as GREAT as Fever, I'll buy it...

1. Chocolate
2. Sweet Music
3. Loving Days

They're the 3 best songs, but something like Obsession might be a better barometer for how much you'd like the whole album.

two weeks pass...
i d/led the album a while ago and never got around to listening to it until now, at which point i discovered that it clobbers. and i never even liked "Slow"! Kylie herself is kind of a weakness in general, ergo i propose she be relegated to 'anonymous diva presence adding atmosphere to good house track', except replace 'house' with 'super disco funk'. CAVEAT: i have not heard Fever outside of the singles.
"Promises" cracks me up when she says "I'm so misunderstood!"... right, she wishes! still, a good production and fairly melodic, so. the multi-tracking on the vocal sounds in "Sweet Music" remind me of "I Want Your Sex" so much. "Chocolate" alone makes the album worth it; her voice is so thin and airy, it's like a whisper or a really light synth sweep. it's like a funk track with a great flute solo! i can't believe ILM slept on this. tell me I'm not wrong!

The ones mentioned, plus 'Red Blooded Woman'.

I bought a CD by a UK singer named Alexis Strumm or something and she recorded 'Still Standing' before Kylie did!

Or whichever one's the Prince homage.

one year passes...
Thee Alexis Strum who is mentioned above did indeed record Still Standing before Kylie, and is an amazingly talented UK artist. Check her out over at www.alexisstrum.com and is set to reelease her debut single 'Bad Haircut' soon =)
