Amber - Classic or Dud?

this is not an autechre thread.

Even if you don't know dance music you know Amber. "This Is The Night" "Sexual (Li da Di)" "One More Night" "Above The Clouds" and more. Not a dance diva like Martha Wash who can belt it out--her voice is almost too thin for the genre--but there's nevertheless something about her vocals that makes you root for her. Or perhaps she is pure pablum and I am misguided?

No real opinion on her, but that lipsynching dog in the Sexual video was a new kind of appalling.

She has one of the perfect vocal sounds for that kind of music. It's ever so slightly like a diva, but more hypnotic like.
