You ought to try this. The infamous Dave Fischer played a tape he had of some Aerosmith stuff played 45. Amazing. Way better that way.

Who else works like this?

I once downloaded a MP3 of Heart's "Crazy On You" 45 rpm single played at 33 1/3rd. It was extremely amusing. But the proper speed is ace, too, innit.

Simple Minds' "Alive and Kicking" is a better song when slowed to 33 1/3.

Practically everything by Severed Heads up to about 1984 sounds much better at 45 rpm.

My 7" of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" sounds grate at 33 1/3. I played the 12" of "Birthday" by the Sugarcubes at 33--Bjork sounds like Bono.
Who/what does Bono sound like at half-speed?

Nobody's Fault sounds pretty thrashy at 45rpm

Michael Jackson's 'Beat It' at 33rpm is great! The riff is heavier, the solo still tears and Jacko himself sounds like he has gonads like space hoppers.
