I think the entire brilliance behind his 1st rough trade record ( i have heard the latest) was in the zany xiu-xiu-but-more-fun editing. does that mean i will be entirely unmoved by his live show?

I can't be sure how much I liked him live, all I know is that Jesse Malin(!) opened for him and Adam Green looked like Blind Lemon Jefferson by comparison.

It's a good album, but Jesus, why is he (and Kimya Dawson) putting out singer-songwriter "no one loves me" stuff? People do love you! When you're in The Moldy Peaches. More MP stuff now!
