I do this all the time, and sometimes I think I'm an idiot for doing it. Often something that I am uncertain about will come into focus after a few listens, so I might as well wait, you know?

I think it's really interesting to hear how people's perception of music and other art changes over time, with exposure, etc. Classic.

yup. classic. as long as you tell people you've only listened to it a few times. i think its cool and risky and you can look like a gimp. but thats nice.

t\'\'t, the whole C/D format is kind of stupid really, but here I am.

You sure are! :)
Well, I'm evidently kinda ol' skool myself in that respect: never in my record reviewing life of ten-plus years did I manage to write 'bout something without having listened to stuff... Had fun in other ways, I suppose.
