Should my roomies/friends enter a collegiate battle of the bands?

Will we wow drunk college girls with our Krautrock/J-noise influenced wall of electronics/trumpet/guitar and bongos?

Will the jam bands cower before my simulated tape delay and ring modulated vocals?

(Are we too white to be the Boredoms?)

No ska bands, probably some pop hardcore though.

I was going to do this once. It was sponsored by a sorority, and we were going to do exclusively Paula Abdul covers, but with loud weird Beefheart meets Depeche Mode arrangements. Alas we had to pull out because our drummer had other commitments that day.

But I thought you loved ska?
