yay go A-Frames!

I like the new Oneida - Secret Wars on Jagaguwar

(but it's got a lot of organ and keyboards, but it's still guitar)

(a-frames are better though)

also, Exploding Hearts - Guitar Romantic

if you like the shins you'd probably like Pas/Cal a lot, they're a bit more dramatic than the shins, the new ep is amazing. also the new legends cd is good, kinda comet gain-ish mixed with a bit of radio dept.

What's best out of Shins, Stills, Walkmen, the natural history?

I'd say Shins. The Natural History has some good tunes though. Stills and Walkmen = snore.

I agree w/Constantines and British Sea Power and would add: The New GBV and/or Hourly Amusements, Wrens - Meadowlands, Enon - Hocus Pocus, but some people think High Society is much better, Dismemberment Plan - Change, Sm and The Jicks - Pig Lib, Thermals - Parts Per Million and The new Liars even though I haven't heard it yet.

ps Olivia Tremor Control's Dusk at Cubist Castle is reissued or something, might as well pick that up too.

Franz Ferdinand and British Sea Power.

(both playing Manchester within a week of each other in April - that's going to be an ace week, for me at least)
