Call me old-fashioned, but when I know for sure I want an album is the exact time I go to the store and buy it. Kids these days.

With their hula hoops and PDAs and horseless carriages...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:16 (twenty-two years ago)

You ARE old-fashioned Sean, I only buy music for the art now, which means that ddb should really get himself to the store!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Old Fashioned!

I am probably older than you....and prettier too!

ddb, Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I can almost guarantee you're not prettier than me.

I've got the vinyl...

Holla Jerry!

No VINYL drive on my computer......yet.

ddb, Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

how cool would VINYL-RW be?!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:23 (twenty-two years ago)

ummmm....very.

ddb, Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:26 (twenty-two years ago)

you don't sound convinced. But imagine it! a gigantic disc drive - then you load in a "blank" vinyl disc et voila - homemade dubplates!

I actually saw a little record cutter like this demonstrated when I was a kid. It wasn't any bigger than those turntables you'd find in your high school A/V department.

Sean (Sean), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 02:37 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm imagining Victorian PCs.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 06:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Steam-powered PCs.
