"Soul legend James Brown is in serious trouble with American police again - he's been arrested on domestic violence charges. The star, 70, was whisked away by cops and booked into the county jail in Aiken, South Carolina, where he's awaiting a bail hearing. It's not the first time Brown has been locked up - in 1988 he served a prison term after an arrest on drug and assault charges and was convicted of a drug-related offense in 1998. But the state of South Carolina - where Brown lives - forgave the singer for his crimes last May when they granted him a pardon."
