A European automobile commercial featuring John Lennon has drawn swift outrage from fans, as well as a rapid defense from his son Sean Ono Lennon, below. The commercial, for the Citroën DS-3, which is being promoted with the slogan “Anti Retro,” includes footage of John Lennon criticizing people’s nostalgia for the 1960s and ’70s.

the interesting thing is that almost no one seems to notice
A) that shitty voice over doesn't even sound like Lennon
B) why would John Lennon be talking about nostalgia for the 70's? he died in 1980
