Who is that other person?
Thanks Alex.
You really don't have to do thing like that for me.
Although, it is good practice for doing things like that for your soon to be child.

"Skeeter"?
You must be talking about "Just Another Story About Skeeter Thompson." Skeeter was the bass player of the band Scream.
My dad mistaken him for the bass player from the Dead Kennedys once. He went up to Skeeter and said, "Great show last night."
Skeeter said, "We didn't play last night." And I guess eventually my dad found out it wasn't the guy from the Dead Kennedys.

Smoking Kills Man.
Uhh, it's just not good to smoke.
It also means he smells like smoke. And his clothes too. Oh God. I hate that smell.

Yeah, those are the exact lyrics to the Buzzo song "Skeeter" too.. I meant to ask.. are you referring to an actual Dave Grohl spoken word release which includes a track called "Just Another Story About Skeeter Thompson"? Is this just a tape that's been going around? I'm curious about the source of the actual title of the story.
Umm. It's original title is "Just Another Story About Skeeter Thompson" It was originally on Pocketwatch, that album Dave made under the name Late. I got it on a Japanese release called Lost Treasures. It's just the Pocketwatch demos. They also have it on bootlegs.
My favorite song form Pocketwatch is "Pokey the Little Puppy." Such a simple, yet likeable instrumental.

"It's original title"
Its.
I usually spell that right!

I love the Melvins take on "Skeeter", just because their music fits David's story-telling meter soooo well.

Oh. I love "Pokey the Little Puppy" and now that I think about it, it is dark. A bit depressing, for an instumental. "Throwing Needles" is good! "Milk", "Butterflies", and maybe "Hells Garden" are a bit like "Floaty." "Petrol CB" is weird, but good. He's got a distorted voice, but then the chourus is like, electric and acoustic and regular voice. "Friend of a Friend" and Coloured Pictures of a Marigold" are the pretty acoustic songs. "Friend of a Friend" is more depressing than "Pictures of a Marigold." Sad songs. "Winnabego" is just a regular song, pretty much. "Bruce" is like a song that make me think is just to listen to while you sit around and smoke pot. Jezz! It's slow! And "Sketter" is more like a song just there. It's fun to listen to though.
