My name is zander and I am a soldier in the us army age 28 I would
like to start first by saying that I hate the fact you retiered for
the rap game I had became a true fan and I will miss you music
alot. You gave me many years if good creative soulful meaningful
and entertaining music. Beleive it or not I was not a fan of your
for along time I think I started to listen to you when you came out
with the HardKnox album. I myself am form the south and I love
artist like eight ball and MJG UGK Scarface Devin Twista and the
list goes on. I just want to ask you if it would be possible for you
to do one last show for a person I thank is you bigest fan and it is
not me it one of my soliers and friend his name is Carter he is
young and good person that I am tring to help see and do some of the
things that he alway wanted to do. We are both station in Alaska at
FT.Wainwright it is not a good place to live as matter of fact is
hard. As you already know we are war and will be for some time. Last
year we found out that we were selected for the new Styker Brigade
and we had to began the trainning for our deployment. It has been
long and hard tranning for almost a year now God knows it is nothing
like being in combat but at the rate we are going we will only have
a month or so after we complete trainning befor we have to leave. I
joined the army sortly after the 911 and I knew that I would be
going to fight one day soon, but I don't think that alot of these
kids realy know what they were getting thereshelves into. Jay I
like to think of myself as a strong person and as time get closer
for us to go I think of all the things I wish I could have done like
see my son and my family or live to see my grand children, buy that
94 ss impala I always wanted and see some of my fav. rappers in
concert. I try to think possitive and keep my soldiers in high
spirts but I have reached my limit and I don't what else I can do
here. Man i know that you get all kind of crazy request form people
but I hope and pray that you hear this on. I feel that it would be
great for the soldiers if you could come down and bless us that
could not attend any of you concerts for the last two years because
we are in Alaska and now we are getting deployed if not I understand
that but ask that you do this one thing for carter talk to him it
would be a dream come true if he could just talk to you. I am
sorry for asking such big favers and thanks for all the great music
the game will never be the same
