Help With Minidisc

Can anyone recommend a good Minidisc and Mic set-up for taping live shows, my only requirements are a Minidisc with a screen that is backlit and a fairly small (but good quality) Mic, for obvious stealth reasons.

Thanks in advance....

Make sure you buy an MD recorder which lets you adjust the recording level while you are actually recording. Last time I checked only Sharp offered this feature.

sharp 722 is boss if you can find it. remote control on the headphone cord for stealth

sony makes a good stereo directional mic for about $100... takes 1 AA battery.

Are any supplied mics up to the job of taping an amplified concert without distortion? I've always thought you had to spend quite a bit on a separate one.

Sony net-MD's player also let you adjust the rec.level whilst recording

Yeah. Or about 60 British pounds.

It'll actually be about £70 for the mic, I'd reckon.

Sony love ripping of the Brits.
