Lil Flip review on Stylus today

seemed to be a decent review, though i haven't heard the full album yet. i was hoping that review might push me one way or the other in deciding to pick it up after work. it almost got me convinced, but i'm having trouble understanding why the reviewer gave it a 5 after the mostly positive review.

you have a point. the passage below is very positive indeed.

"...“Check (Let’s Ride)” and “Dem Boyz” come in near the end of the disc to quell any thoughts of a mid-album/late-album slump utilizing fascinating backing tracks to tell their individual stories.

i'm not sure how much it's being sold for right now, but if it's sold at a single disc price i'd get it. if it's going as a double disc, i'd wait for it used.

not that i'm criticising todd. i enjoyed the review, just it seemed to have more positive sentiments than the average 5/10.

it's going for single disc price, at least at the big chains around here. that's whats tempting me to go pick it up.
