Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet?
Why did Judas rat the Romans while Jesus slept?

both classic and dud. Classic for earlier fun stuff like "groovy underwear" and "rock 'n' roll queer bar." Dud because they (inevitably?) painted themselves into a corner and (unfortunately) decided their music should have a more overt message.

But mostly classic for hanging in there so long and having the cajones to put on the show they do in some not-so-friendly locations.

I saw them recently. They're still good. And they have nice vocal harmonies.

They put on a better show then Chicks on Speed and Peaches, thats for sure.
And they got a song called bemoaning the mullet so of course they are all right.

They're a mixed bag. Sometimes the over-the-top in-your-face gayness gimmick inspired some nice songs but they were rarely as funny as they were trying to be. I did always liked their choice of covers, partly because they tended to be more sincere.

The new album Total Entertainment is very very very good, though.
