Who's that girl? Does she blow ya mind?

indeed she does.

Some good songs...some not so good songs. (The Gwen Stefani duet was my idea of hell.)

I really really like her flow most of the time but she rarely seems to make a track that knocks me out, even with the right beat/collaborators. And she seems eager to break into the movie/sitcom circuit so she probably won't try too hard with records anymore anyway.

Good call -- this sums it up for me, because even on the songs that really catch my ear, I just can't find myself getting really excited by them, and the ones that don't work for me are very boring.

her last album really stunk.

i love eve-olution. 8-16. starting with figure you out which is really sweet and real and one of my favorite skits ever to follow it and SATISFACTION!! and neckbones is okay but double r what is just amazing and a couple more good ones on the end.

i hope the breaking into the movie/sitcom circuit thing doesn't fuck up her next album but she's back on aftermath and all serious. i think her verse on not today is one of her best ever so she's still good.

back on Aftermath, really? damn, Busta and now her. word to "Double R What", that one was awesome.

Al (sitcom), Sunday, 18 April 2004 05:01 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah she's on the cover of xxl or something else with dre, busta, and game. shady/aftermath running this rap game!

"Scorpian" is pretty good, that's all I've got. "Got What You Need" is really good.

Nick H (Nick H), Sunday, 18 April 2004 15:34 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah i picked up that XXL when i was flying to NYC....the article wasn't that enlightening...basically, "yay aftermath dr. dre is going to bring out the best in me!"....also dre confirms that he's not going to do detox (sadly)

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Sunday, 18 April 2004 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

"Got What You Need" is by now the absolute fodder of cynical DJs, even more so than "Be Faithful".

Obv. all tracks of such nature are pretty classic but it's one of those tunes where I live in fear that one day I will hear it out for the nth time and suddenly never like it ever again.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Sunday, 18 April 2004 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Can't fucking stand her.
