i bought the five cd captain beefheart rarities (!!!) the captain beefheart album is doing my head in. it is the cut-heart underbelly of the nu-liverpool explosion, aint it (hokum clones, the choral, the zutons, the maybes, danny connors...). but then again i am eighteen different kinds of record geek to be obsessing over this.
