ghostface ft. scarface - face off

in the tradition of not average joe, i guess, but it's really good. scarface sounds strained and fast and ghostface talks about guns a bit and a lot of nonsense about marshmallow dimes and slick rick and stickin niggas like new york cops with plungers. and scarface actually re-records the exact same verse he did on the z-ro album. isn't that how mobb deep got robbed? it's not even very good (but it sounds way better on this track and sounds more like scarface). when the z-ro track came out everyone was giving it as more evidence that scarface had fallen off hard.

"evidence" that scarface has fallen off hard is bullshit, even on Balls & My Word there were some incredible moments. He does seem to have fukked up his voice a little though.

two weeks pass...
finally heard it, Scarface sounds great on it, more aggressive than usual. I liked The Fix a lot too, although I wouldn't be surprised if he lost his drive and fell off soon, though, considering that he probably makes more money as an A&R than as a recording artist these days.

I love these collabo tracks Kay Slay's doing teaming people up by some weird theme based on their names. my suggestions: Method Man and Just Blaze (Just Blaze/Johnny Blaze!), and maybe all the 'man' rappers: Method Man, Redman, R.A. The Rugged Man, Motion Man, etc.
