Shaun of the Dead - Stone Roses reference is CLASSIC

So they're throwing vinyl records at two zombies in the hope of slicing them - frisbee style - in the head. Only Shaun doesn't want his mate Ed to use the good records.

"Stone Roses?" asks Ed. "No" asserts Shaun. "Ah, Second Coming" suggests Ed. Pause. "Oh - I like it" whines Shaun.

Classic.

I've lusted after her (series 1 and 2, and I'm no chubby chaser.

Bob. Chill.

art fag

n.1) an art student fully immersed in the art school culture, i.e. dressing in all-black or the trendiest rummage sale attire, listening to music only played on college radio, and referring to obscure artists or writers constantly

2) one who uses "artistic" to explain dubious decisions or behaviors

That art fag welded a high-heel to an umbrella and ran around the Village all day in the rain.

Jessica Stevenson bought Coltrane "Ballads" from our record shop about a year ago and she was very sweet - she was really embarrassed when we gave her a discount.

We said it was a 'celebrity discount' but it was really because we all secretly fancied her!

Ashley (Ashley), Wednesday, 21 April 2004 10:05 (twenty-two years ago)

one year passes...
I also liked the "Blue Monday" 12" reference - "1st edition".
