Wherein someone helps me sequence these, or suggests new trax. I guess the Branca leaves a pretty wide chronological gap, but the song seems to fit the bill perfectly.

Glenn Branca - "Spectacular Commodity"

Unwound - "Below the Salt"
Explosions in the Sky - "Greet Death"
Wind-Up Bird - "Become"

I was thinking Godspeed! was maybe to obvious/not essential enough (IMO), etc... Maybe something from Sonic Youth's SYR series, or Slint, but is that drifting too far away?

Yeah, the Isis and Sonic Youth tracks are both great. I wouldn't have thought of using Isis because I associate them more w/ hardcore or metal, but that song does work well. Thanks!
