What is with this? Of course, these sorts of people crop up occasionally. I usually just laugh at this sort of craziness. But I can never figure out if these people are serious or just taking the piss. Downloading from crazy folk and then banning them afterward ... fun stuff?

simply add the people to a ban list that, should any of them attempt to dl from, simply says "i have decided to ban you for nebuluous, arbitrary and almost completely random reasons, close the door on your way out will you"

Aw man, I'm not at home where I have soulseek, but there's another guy who lists all of the above rules AND that if you're banned, he may lift the ban at a later date (though he doesn't give reasons why he would lift it). However, if you message him wanting to know why you're banned, then doing so will piss him off so much that he'll extend your ban.

He banned me.
So I message him all the time.

I never even look at my outgoing files. Who is so fucked up inside that they monitor who downloads from them? And then checks their files? And passes judgement on them?

Online computer network in attracting fucked up miscreants shockah I guess but it's still weird. I'm gonna go play god with my uploads now.

I'll check my outgoings occasionally, and if somebody's uploading the cool stuff at a pretty fast ping rate, I might take a look into their folders. I've never banned or been banned from sharing.

Yeah, I'll check my uploads as a way of finding other people with cool music folders, but otherwise ... I have considered banning people who are downloading but don't share, but I can't imagine becoming all coked up the uploaders about like this guy does.

one month passes...

why does this one person insist on downloading THE EXACT SAME dancehall tracks from me everytime i'm on slsk?? they already have them in their folder!! they just line them up and then they instantly say 'finished'! except for the times when they choose a different save folder, and then they redownload the same files from me again! are they unfamiliar with the notion of copying? why did they not reply to my msg?
