Super Ae by the Boredoms now, or wait for various reasons I won't go into until the new Beta Band album comes out? What other album(s) might complement Super Ae so that I can buy it now? I don't want to listen to it for the first time without something else to listen to for the first time. I'd be obliged for your input.

Wait till the Beta Band album comes out.

Maybe I should put it this way. Anybody who has Super Ae, do you remember what else you may have bought when you got/downloaded it? I'm anticipating it blowing my mind, and I'd like a back-up or two handy, sorta like chasers.

doomie x, Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Visioncreationnewsun!

Sick Nouthall (Nick Southall), Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Are they nonsense because I like them, Doomie?

Sick Nouthall (Nick Southall), Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:05 (twenty-two years ago)

doomie x, Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:05 (twenty-two years ago)

kerrist. can we get anymore provincial?

doomie x, Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you mocking where I'm from, Doomie? Am I not urban enough for you?

Sick Nouthall (Nick Southall), Thursday, 22 April 2004 17:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I've got Vision Creation Newsun. Listening to it again the other night I felt like I was ready finally for the next step. But I can't help wondering what other album might cushion the come down from Super Ae, if that makes any sense.

After I downloaded Super Ae (my maiden Boredoms album), I transferred it to minidisc (as I mostly do with d/l albums) and followed it (not very conciously) with Under Construction, Pt. II by Timbaland and Magoo (maiden Timbaland album). Worked for me.(:)

Just download (assuming you have those capacities) "Super Going," the most orgasmic track on the record. But why did they waste the most orgasmic title of the record, "Super Coming," on a track shooting blanks? Never trust a band that doesn't kow how to fuck. If you don't have downloading capacities, wait for Beta.

Post-Boredoms boredom cushioning: "Brainstorm" by Hawkwind, maybe Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation.

buy Super aE with Neu 2 or any Sun City Girls

sexyDancer, Thursday, 22 April 2004 18:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I bought it with a single-cd reissue of a couple Chrome albums. A lovely chaser.

Hurlothrumbo (hurlothrumbo), Thursday, 22 April 2004 18:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Neu!2 and Chrome are very good suggestions.

willem (willem), Thursday, 22 April 2004 18:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Chase it with Fela Kuti's Expensive Shit.

mcd (mcd), Thursday, 22 April 2004 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Charles Mingus "Tijuana Moods" ought to be the chaser. Seriously.

Dr. Annabel Lies (Michael Kelly), Friday, 23 April 2004 01:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Try Nurse With Wound's new "Angry Electric Finger (Spitch'Cock One)." It can be the cold to Boredoms' warm.
