Burroughs/Cobain - "The Priest They Called Him"

I recently picked up the 10" version of William Burroughs / Kurt Cobain - "The Priest They Called Him" (for a mere £15 I must add). It is one-sided with an inscription of the each participant's autograph on the reverse (presumably these were simply copied from their actual autographs). Does anyone know any more details about this, especially regarding how limited the run was?

Funnily enough, I worked for the company handling UK press for the label this came out on, T/K (also home of Kurt's heroes The Wipers). I think the picture vinyl was limited but I can't remember the exact run; there was also a plain vinyl and CD run. Can't have been that much in demand though, as when we cleared out our office there was a whole stack of these (vinyl and CD) that I couldn't interest any record shop in buying. The honest truth is that it's not that great a Nirvana artefact.

On Gemm, it is priced between $25 and $150.

No indication if anyone is buying at any of those prices, though...

If they do they are being robbed - particularly as ebay.com has plenty of copies going around the ten dollar mark!

Thanks. I'm not going to sell it anyway, but was intrigued as I'd only ever previously seen the cd version that a friend had years ago. To be honest, I bought it more for the Burroughs aspect than Nirvana.

I got my vinyl for $3, and I have seen a ton of these over the years, both CD and vinyl. It's not hard to find.

To me it sounds better at 33 1/3.

Burroughs' reading is fantastic, but Cobain's accompaniment is dreadful. Burroughs' manager once told me that Uncle Bill was less than impressed with Cobain's playing on the cd.

At least Burroughs didn't shoot him.
