Are they still together? I remember hearing that they were. I just dug out an old 7" of theirs and remembered how great they were. Anyone remember 'em?

I remember Sucking Hind Tit to be a pretty album that I no longer own. Okra was such a fantastic label (Schramms, Fellow Travellers and all).

As to your question about whether they're still together, the answer is yes. And if you can make it to Cincinnatti, you can catch them tonight:

Friend Jake was long a fan and I have at least one CD of theirs around due to his influence. Hmm...

I saw them play in Pittsburgh a few years ago--they were Space Truckers! Lots of sparks, feedback, and rust...whoop!

Roger, was it the Sub Pop single? That's a pretty great a-side.

I have not forgotten them -- one of my favorite Ohio bands. Their first two (and only) albums are great. Their cover of "Horse With No Name" is what it's all about. Tis unjust that they have been mostly forgotten.

How long is the America cover exactly? I remember it going on for an eternity.

four years pass...

Found the reissue of what I assume was a self-titled album from 1988 the other day -- I like how the opening track, "Big West," starts off as good enough demi-blues/roots rock but then everything gets honest to god great with the solos.

I'm trying to remember who these fellows were, but all my mind keeps coming up with is another band time forgot - the Gibson Bros.
