My Apologizes if this has already been done. I searched for 'high' and came up w/ a bunch of High Fidelity and Electric Six threads.

So I got high last night. Someone put a Modest Mouse CD on and I kinda thought it was good. Then Neutral Milk Hotel was on and even while thinking it was hilariously predictable that these two bands were choosen for listening amongst the stoner liberal arts students I enjoyed the fuzziness, overly nasal singing and pretentious stream of consciousness lyrics.

It reminded me of the time I thought I heard the greatest song ever, but it turned out it was just Pennywise and I was very very high.

I was really high when I saw Curve with the JAMC and Spiritualized; by the end of Curves set I thought I'd seen the fucking most amazing set every played in the history of music; the rest of the night was boring beyond belief. I was REALLY high.
