An article on average song length?

There was an article a while back, I have no clue where I even saw it, but it was talking about the average length of pop songs over the past few decades and what exactly influenced them to change and things like that. I've looked high and low across numerous sites and message boards for it, but can't frickin' find it. Any of you perhaps know where it is?

The KLF mentions briefly in their "How To Have A Number Hit: The Easy Way" book (or whatever it's called) that in the context of pop songs... it must be 3:20... the more you stray, the more you're likely to fail in your goal for a #1.

Moofman there was a brief post on my weblog on this, plus a little discussion in the comments box.

Ah! I'm pretty sure that's what I was looking for, though I think I read another one somewhere too that was an article, not a blog post. Thanks!
