The other day i was playing Jay Z's The Blueprint *Blueprint (Momma Loves Me* and i realized i heard the sample he used on it on Anthony Hamilton's latest one *Mama Knew Love* Can anyone out there tell me where it originates from??

...and while i'm asking, where is the "Nevah nevah nevah gonna chainnge" in the background of *Never Change* on the Blueprint coming from. It sounds like it could be from an Al Green record, but i can't peg which one if it's even him at all...

i believe the the sample from Momma Loves Me is Al Green's "Free at Last".
The sample from Never Change is from the self-titled solo album by Temptations singer, David Ruffin. Common Man, is the name of the track.

I think it's "Mom & Dad Like the Baby More than Me" by the Happy Flowers, but I could be entirely mistaken.

The David Ruffin is right on, but the Al Green one, i just checked that out...i don't think that's right...

...and very funny Alex! Wha...no Killing Joke appropriate songs you could think of...

Jay Z hasn't the class to sample Killing Joke.
