Soulseek in general has been going very poorly for me lately (though it is currently connected). On a related note, what causes stuff to fail on soulseek?

I'm more curious why EVERY time Soulseek has a little blip in their service someone (is it always Roger?!?) feels the need to post a new thread about it.

daniel - firewalls are often the problem. at least, that's what i'm told. it completely eludes me as to why i can download from someone for 45 minutes then everything will fail for 3 hours and then it'll work fine again.
