Hit your transfers window and give us a list of what other people have queued and are currently trying to download from your files. Don't included more than one song per artist otherwise this could quickly become a boring list of rare albums... either that or it'd just say 'new album by The Streets' over and over again, more likely.

Mine:

Jurassic 5 - Concrete Schoolyard
Dandy Warhols - I Love You
The Stills - Lola Stars And Stripes
!!! - Feel Good Hit Of The Fall
Ben Gibbard - Complicated [some indie band singer doing the Avril Lavigne song]
Goldfrapp vs The Timelords - Doctor On The Train [bootleg mash-up by Lionel Vinyl]
Radio 4 - Dance To The Underground [XFM Session]
Jonathan Fire Eater - Give Me Daughters
Happy Tunes - Rushin' On Pink Champagne
Belle & Sebastian - I'm A Cuckoo [The Avalanches Remix]

It's like the most popular parts of your mp3 collection. Fuck those obscure and 0-day leaked albums - what other people really want is to not have to pay for singles by Britney and major label indie acts. Sort of like when you have friends over and they really have no interest in 'quirky' stuff like Denim and insist that you put Radiohead or The Strokes on.

And if you're downloading from filesharing outfits without allowing other people access to your files you're cheating the kids, so don't complain. Unless you're the RIAA, in which case I apologise in advance.

Propellerheads - Bang On (Student:Boy:Racer)

Jackie O'Motherfucker - Amazing Grace
OST - Amazine Grace

Country Mike's Greatest Hits (lord knows why; hearing Mike D sing country has a novelty value of approx. 20 minutes. The dude just keeps trying and failing over and over and over and over and I am tempted to ban him just to get him out of my uploads window)
Le Future Le Funk (queued by an ILXer! Guess which one?)
Disco Spectrum Vol. 1
A Led Zeppelin bootleg from 4/69 at the Fillmore West

Nate in ST.P (natedetritus), Tuesday, 27 April 2004 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

("the dude" = the downloader, not Mike D, though he also tries/fails repeatedly)

When I realize something is becoming way too popular, I often delete it. I learned pretty quickly not to leave White Stripes on my computer. No sense having people queued around the block to d/l something from you that they can get from lots and lots of other people anyway.
