Does anyone know?

I'm tempted to respond "Does anyone care?" But I won't. Isn't it kind of accepted that if you're THAT nuts about Lindsay (and I like him lots) to want what I understand is this middling-to-meh example of 70s folk rock, you'll have already picked the import of it?

"import"? surely you mean bootleg?

I don't know anything about this album but I could have sworn I read someone in a blog or somewhere who was all excited because it was finally on CD.

Since it's so long out of print and all, and b/c of what came next, I think its musical worth is slightly inflated. Still very good though.

it's no masterwork but it's worth the $1 used price tag for the nude photo of stevie nicks

Better than the 1975 s/t? That is a bold claim.

Mark Rich@rdson, Thursday, 25 October 2007 04:17 (sixteen years ago) link

75 s/t is better than Rumours.

i don't think it's better than s/t but i'm far more likely to listen to BN because it's a lot fresher to me

Buckingham Nicks is an unbelievably good record! "Long Distance Winner"?! I just picked up Lindsay's solo record Go Insane and it sounds like Balearic Italo disco. It's awesome.

Saw this in Pitchfork recent reviews and got excited bc I thought there was a reissue (which therefore might be on streaming services), but it was just a Sunday Review. Good review, though (by Mark Richardson): https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/buckingham-nicks-buckingham-nicks
