Yo yo yo, 1, 2, 1, 3
Let me tell ya'll about my man, mr. D.
Dennis Kucinich in da house
As Dennis makes his entrance onto the scene
You realize sheeeet this boyeez clean
He's not saying words while others pull his strings
Corporations ain't buying him, this man's an honest gig
He's not taking dough to support an elite few
The words that he says are so clear they ring true
(Check it out)
It's not right for us to kill in Iraq
It's not right for us to die in Iraq
Companies like Haliburton are robbing a people's goods
This aint no bunch-of robin hoods
They're stealing from the poor and giving it to the rich
They're taking people's freedoms and throwin' em in a ditch
(It's all about)Greed, Power
Dennis is the only one fightin' the real fight
he's the only one saying that might ain't right
peace, international cooperation
it's the only way we're going to heal this nation
(check this out)
Global treaties ratified
Bill of Rights legitimized
Cannabis decriminalized
Pentagon de-emphasized
Nuclear weapons excised
Department of peace stylized
Health care universalized
Higher education subsidized
Manufacturing revitalized
Renewable energy prioritized
Airwaves demonopolized
And People energized
That's my man, Kucinich
(lemme ask you this)
whatcha gonna do about the pollution in da air?
whatcha gonna do about the violence everywhere?
whatcha gonna do when you say you feel powerless?
whatcha gonna do when your friends say their too poor for college, what's the point in knowledge
Is that the kinda world we really wanna live in?
If that ain't the kinda world we want when elections finish,
Step up to the mic..and vote Kucinich (that's all you gotta do)
(but who else is there?)
John Kerry is the senator who voted yes, let's go to war
John Edwards voted too and firmly said yeah, sure.
For George Bush's policies they fell rank and file in line
Patriot act? they signed it, the bill of rights didn't cross their mind.
John Kerry's highest campaign dollars come from yep guess who.
>From the same people who brought you CNN and missiles, cell phones and consulting, it's time to blow the whistle
That's.AOLTimeWarner, Verizon, and Raytheon, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Fidelity, AT&T (those are Kerry's top donors)
(but what about John Edwards?)
John Edwards' many dollars comes from high-priced trial lawyers who fill his pockets right
And ADM, the supermarket to the world, pays for his flights
Business ain't bad, but when it gets too big,
It mixes with government and public interest is sacked big
And in comes corporate greed.
Show a candidate money, and they'll ask you: what do you need?
But not Kucinich..
(look it goes like this)
If you're feeling angry about the homeless on the street
If you're feeling angry about the people who can't eat
If you're feeling angry about the corporate-controlled media
If you're feeling angry about the lies that they been feedin' ya
Step up to the mic, and vote Kucinich..
We the people, that's you and me
Let's build an awareness network, send a message to the world.
If you want to live a better life and envision a sustainable future for our planet.
Get the message out, help spread the word,
be your own media, and let your interests be heard
Cuz mainstream media has its own to serve
The system won't change unless we throw it a curve and say yo: we demand what we deserve
public policy driven by human values---not corporate greed
Dennis Kucinich is the man we need
Let's spread these words of hope around the whole nation
We'll help Dennis Kucinich win the nomination
Check him out.
