Loved All That Glitters, haven't heard jack about them in quite a while...

manuel (manuel), Thursday, 13 May 2004 13:25 (twenty-two years ago)

the scan showed degenerative changes in the thoracolumbar region only with no sign of any sinister underlying pathology.

Marcello Carlin, Thursday, 13 May 2004 13:32 (twenty-two years ago)

whatever happened to FORCETRACKS

nick.K (nick.K), Thursday, 13 May 2004 13:59 (twenty-two years ago)

i've only heard 'Tied To The 90s', i should hear the rest of the album

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 13 May 2004 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

whatever happened to BENNY SANTINI

Marcello Carlin, Thursday, 13 May 2004 14:07 (twenty-two years ago)

'tied to the 80s', surely? [/pedant]

btw, stevem, you'd really like "blue", i think.

m. (mitchlnw), Thursday, 13 May 2004 14:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Forcetracks may seem a little quiet because of the EFA disaster?

jeffery (jeffery), Thursday, 13 May 2004 14:18 (twenty-two years ago)

the curse of Travis strikes again

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 13 May 2004 14:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Marcello please no more "jokes", you are killing tinkerbell.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 13 May 2004 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

There was a new MRI track on last year's "Digital Disco 2". Sounded a bit lackluster though.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Thursday, 13 May 2004 19:10 (twenty-two years ago)

They started their own label, Resopal (released a Jackmate album and that acid-revivalist comp), but I imagine it's in the same dire straits as Force Tracks now.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Thursday, 13 May 2004 22:01 (twenty-two years ago)

force is long gone folks

duke canada, Thursday, 13 May 2004 22:13 (twenty-two years ago)

what's happening to Akufen's album if Force has gone under. I gather he's doing an album for Fabric but am presuming this is a mix rather than an artist album

Gus (Gutta_Funk), Friday, 14 May 2004 07:22 (twenty-two years ago)

i keep seeing those forcetracks digital disco comps for like $5 in used bins! i keep wanting to buy them (even though i already have them!)

geeta (geeta), Friday, 14 May 2004 07:27 (twenty-two years ago)

i cant be bothered to search but these guys were such obv b-boys! like sort of the house funkstorung.

prima fassy (mwah), Friday, 14 May 2004 08:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i thought they were great and forcetracks is fucked, i think. disco discovery on the 1st digital disco album was a beauty of a track

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't know Forcetracks had gone under - All That Glitters was amazing... I hope they don't disappear altogether, I want more spangly microhouse.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

i think they have

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:33 (twenty-two years ago)

does that mean that the whole of the Mille Plateaux network has gone under then?

jed_ (jed), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:40 (twenty-two years ago)

i don't know for sure, but i think so

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:40 (twenty-two years ago)

The first Digital Disco is a really really nice comp, summer swinging around again it might be time to take it out I guess. I even like the Nu Shoez cover! And that "Magic Lady" track too, I always try and play that out.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 14 May 2004 10:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I loved "Rhythmogenesis", but the follow-up was waaay too house-y for me.
This is another oppurtunity to mourn EFA :(

Barry Bruner (Barry Bruner), Friday, 14 May 2004 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

seven years pass...

really. where DID they go?

j., Tuesday, 21 June 2011 09:49 (fourteen years ago)

Stephan Lieb is still recording as MRI, mostly for his own Resopal Schallware and Resopal Red labels.

pshrbrn, Tuesday, 21 June 2011 11:41 (fourteen years ago)
