Does the CD booklet come with lyrics? I picked up a copy today, and left the damn thing at work. I just wanted to know.

people who ONLY use pitchfork to learn of new music

I don't get it...

Mission of Burma have been around for ages, and they're hardly an "indie" band. Why did you give that link?

Burmafan, Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Why aren't they indie?

There's a difference between indie and lesser-known. Not that they're even that, really.

Burmafan, Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:46 (twenty-two years ago)

What's the difference?

Real answer: No lyrics. It has a few blurry in-action photos.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:52 (twenty-two years ago)

real answer: not as indie as the boredoms.

jon's just in a bad mood because he hasn't had his daily colonic yet.

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:02 (twenty-two years ago)

hey ian -- i sort of pissed of dan st. jacques but now it's all ok. seems dan has a computer and the internet now.

jack cole (jackcole), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:05 (twenty-two years ago)

haha jack, tell me this story! (e-mail if you don't want to post it here! that's funny stuff, man.)

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to shoplift and piss him off!

I used to buy Dr. Pepper from him all the time. kekekekeke.

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:17 (twenty-two years ago)

it was nothing too big. i didn't really like the Eruptum record and he got on me for taking it too seriously and how all of his bands are jokes, etc.

jack cole (jackcole), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Now that we're on the topic, does anyone know if the lyrics for ONoffON are anywhere on the internet?

Burmafan, Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Wait is he a random googler? Vincebus is probably the weakest DSJ band, but they are still ok!

I like Vincebus more than The Von Ryan Express. And also probably more than Thee Hydrogen Terrorz, but not as much as OSS and Landed.

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:52 (twenty-two years ago)

yea, I forgot he was in *those bands*
