Everything I've heard by them sounds like it should go somewhere really amazing, then it never does and the next drone/ostinato/chant/groove starts up.

They're the kings of the anti-climax. I do feel very 'cool' listening to them though. More interesting to see them live.

Yeah, that's a valid point. They're way more directionless than many of their peers. Here's hoping they learn to edit themselves a bit better.

Sunburned Hand of the Man are playing in London on Mon 31st May, at 93 Feet East, Brick Lane. I've been told that Vibracathedral Orchestra and Jack Rose are the support. I'll be there.
