I've been trying to find Home's box set of their first 8 albums for oh about 7 years now. Even the compilation disc that cooking vinyl put out was hard to find.

The Leels record that came out last year or the year before was a nice side splinter...

How well known are these guys? I know one ILX0r in particular who has more than a passing fancy...

Are home and Meringue related? I think the guy from Meringue went on to be in an act called Panama I saw a few times. Great indie pop.

Are home and Meringue related?

There is a current band named The Leels featuring members of each band.

there's been a new home record in the works for what seems like ages now; home has also generated spinoffs-a-plenty, including capt qitn, please give, leels. eric, the aforesaid keyboard player, also has put out his classical compositions under the name 100% storms ensemble. dumbwaiters remain a florida band, but they are, along with home, the real jewel of the bunch. the free103 folks owned a record store in tampa where home et al played way back in the early days.

there are remixes of some Home material floating around somewheres; a friend of mine calling himself the Flimsy Vessels participated.
