Why don't you upgrade to 8.6? Give 1996 a chance.

Nick on ILX found a freeware site that has Soundjam. If I upgrade will I get more clockspeed? meaning more speed switching between applications?

A few mp3s I ripped with it have awful clicking noises. I was just wondering if there's anything out there that's more reliable.

there is an apple script that allows you to rip via LAME using iTunes.. and it really depends on *what* you want to rip to? mp3? flac? shorten? etc
