As a Dead fan, I was surprised the other day while scouring the racks to find that I never really adequately investigated much of Bob's solo stuff. Is any of it any good?

so, you're saying that Ace, itself a mediocre album by Dead standards, is as good as it gets?

Bummer.

one month passes...
I was feeling saucy and bought Weir Here, mostly to hear Ratdog's version of "Masters of War" and the live version of "Me & Bobby McGee." Couldn't find either on slsk. Will check it out tonight with a Makers Mark and some xanax and report back. Wish I had somewhere far to drive to.
