Strongo, how is Premier overrated?

Do you have anything better to do than bash the hip-hop canon, a canon which most critics never respected in the first place? I hear there are people who still think My Bloody Valentine released the best album of the 90s.

I mean you make fun of the "pete rockists" who give Premier too much credit (by yr estimation) but its not like the hip-hop canon is full of Pnnk Floyd-like figures worthy of smashing. Pete Rock for instance just does the occasional club DJing, Premier does his own thing, neither of them are raking in cash or something. And most rock critics never gave them credit when they WERE relevent.
