I love The Smiths. Love them. But Pantera wins. "Cemetery Gates" by The Smiths is Smiths by the numbers - references to Keats and Oscar Wilde and such, with that 'oh aren't I clever' way of singing Moz adopts whenever he references literature, is no match for the intense pure rock fury of Pantera's song - in fact, solo just Dimebag on the guitar, with that blistering harmonic on the main riff, and it's still light years better than The Smiths' version.

Yeah, CM is my least fave track on TQID. Pantera's CM though, is probably their best song. And that solo! *YUM*
