(Know-it-all barfly voice) You know what there should be? A band like the Darkness except instead of using nice clear amp distortion, uses one of those yellow or orange 'hyperdistortion' pedals (or purple like DOD 'American Metal')so it's like a weed-whacker running out of gas being broadcast through an AM radio with a 1" speaker

listening to Laaz Rockit's "Know Your Enemy" now and surprised I missed out on this band. love the crunchy guitars, and the vocals ARE kinda proto-power metal but the ballsy kind. more like Bobby Blitz styled vocals.
