picked up the first Elf record this weekend on vinyl...."Hootchie Kootchie Woman" is so great! Best non-Faces Faces song ever!!!!!!

This is truth! I'd never heard the Elf stuff as most everyone dismissed it as crap, but the debut at least is great! The Faces with generic hard rock solos pasted on top is an apt description. Real solid piece of 70s boogie. Totally loving it.
